I had an amazing opportunity to join the Art Battle events in Rochdale, UK.

Art Battle is a live art competition where artists compete against the clock to create paintings, and audiences vote for their favorites.

How it works

  • Artists compete in rounds with a time limit, such as 20 or 30 minutes
  • The audience moves around the easels to watch the artists create their work
  • At the end of each round, the audience votes for their favourite painting
  • The top two artists from each round advance to the next round
  • The winner is the top-voted artist in the final round
